The Spirit of the Forest, Episode 06

This is episode 6 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama/comedy created by Oregon resident Dan Crall, which focuses on the sadness, absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.
This episode features a walk in the woods with a schoolmaster trying to resolve a bullying problem involving pubes and a boy named Martin, a sad tale of a wandering man who had to kill his horse that morning, a walk on a dried up lake in the Alvord Desert with a local artist, and the story of someone whose life was ruined by the D.A.R.E. drug awareness program in his junior high years.
Featuring the music of Yen Pox, Raison d’etre, as well as the acting talent of Dan Crall, John Knight, Matt Burris, John Crall, John Simpkins, and an unknown wanderer, this episode was recorded in mid February 2015 in Corvallis, Oregon, and in the rural desert of Harney County Oregon.

The Spirit of the Forest, Episode 05

This is episode 5 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama/comedy created by Oregon resident Dan Crall, which focuses on the sadness, absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.

This episode features a walk in the forest with a man of peace, a man of wisdom, a man of judgment… we also drop in on the religious channel WIRD and their sister station WORD for some whacky times with God, and we finish with a narrative of a man who’s never been the same since the accident.
Featuring the music of Bestia Centauri, Dan Crall, and Stone Glass Steel, as well as the acting talent of John Knight, Zachary Pierce, Dan Crall, a mystery Russian street preacher, and numerous voices from Oregon State University, this episode was mostly recorded in late February 2015 in Corvallis, Oregon.

This is episode 4 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama/comedy created by Oregon resident Dan Crall, which focuses on the sadness, absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.  

This episode features a novelty T-shirt shop owner and his younger assistant arguing over the concept of t-shirt slogans and their inherent comedic value, an experimental narrative performed by homeless inhabitants of Corvallis, Oregon, and a conversation between two amateur white rappers of Ord, Nebraska, just before one of them moves on to the big time in New York City.
Featuring the music of Yen Pox, as well as the acting talent of Dan Crall, Michael Cunningham, Alan Nolan Sr., and John “Sarge” Landis, this episode was recorded in late January 2015 in Corvallis, Oregon.

The Spirit of the Forest, Episode 03

This is episode 3 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama/comedy created by Oregon resident Dan Crall, which focuses on the sadness, absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.

This episode features a father and son walking and discussing family and social matters, even in the face of Dad’s humorous medical condition, and a narrative of a homeless man looking for companionship, a place to sleep, and someone with whom to share his hemorrhoid cream.
Featuring the music of Yen Pox, as well as the acting talent of Dan Crall, John Knight, and Cheyne Willems, this episode was recorded in early January 2015 in Corvallis, Oregon.
